Great Smokies Health Foundation (GSHF)
FY2023-24 Community & Targeted Health Impact Grant Programs
Tier 1: Community Grants - After hearing from almost 200 community partners, grantees, and other stakeholders, some changes have been made to the GSHF Community Grants program, formerly known as “Thrift Shop Grants.” The ceiling amount has been increased from $5,000 to $7,500 per year, and will be for a 2 year period instead of a single year, for a total award of up to $15,000.

The mission of the Great Smokies Health Foundation is to improve the health status of the residents of Jackson, Swain, Macon, and Graham counties through investment and collaboration focused on health, wellness, and prevention.
