The Great Smokies Health Foundation (GSHF) FY2023-24 Community & Targeted Health Impact Grants Application process has closed.
Grant Applicants will be notified of their grant status beginning August 24, 2023.
This year, there are two (2) tiers of funding available:
Tier 1: Community Grants - After hearing from almost 200 community partners, grantees, and other stakeholders, some changes have been made to the GSHF Community Grants program, formerly known as “Thrift Shop Grants.” The ceiling amount has been increased from $5,000 to $7,500 per year, and will be for a 2 year period instead of a single year, for a total award of up to $15,000. However, agencies may still apply for a single year of funding not to exceed $7,500. Provision of Year 2 funding, if awarded, will be contingent on the achievement of projected outcomes/objectives, spend-down rate of Year 1 funding, and timeliness of reporting and other deliverables.
